The best season to visit Amsterdam is around Easter and July-August. Though both of them have their own advantages, each season is different from the other. April to May sees daffodils and tulips come to life through the cracks in the crowds. The beautiful summers are a great time to grab a bite and a drink alongside a canal. Though winter is a bit bleak it’s hardly ever extremely cold. The cozy hearted pubs give shelter and offer one a chance to meet “real” Dutch. Another distinct advantage is the hotels are cheaper compared to the main tourist season.
